Virtually every hi-tech component on your vehicle like audio and navigation systems, heated seats and more is covered. There’s no better way to help protect them for years to come.
Airbags, wire harnesses, door locks and other key safety features are covered.
Your fuel system relies on numerous hi-tech components and sensors that can be costly to repair, so getting coverage on almost everything – from fuel pumps to seals and gaskets – helps you breathe easy.
All lubricated parts, plus a long list of items like transfer cases, actuators and more, are covered.
Brakes are complicated and have a variety of components that can be costly to replace. With Ally Premier Protection Major Guard, they’re covered. All you’re responsible for is normal wear items like shoes, pads and rotors.

From ball joints to axles, struts, bearings and more, Major Guard is your best defense against the high cost of replacing these critical parts that keep your ride smooth and safe.

The vital parts that provide your vehicle’s climate control, such as your compressor, condenser and blower motor, are protected. So you can feel confident that you’ll be comfortable in any weather.
Vehicles today are full of complex electronics and computer components. With our protection, they’re covered – anything from a wiper motor to the ignition module.

The Cost of Repairs

Are protection plans worth it?

They can seem like a lot of money, but if a repair becomes necessary they can have dramatic financial benefits. These are the averages for claims paid in 2016 by Ally Financial Protection Plans across all vehicle types.

What is GAP insurance?

GAP insurance protects you from the financial “gap” found in a lease. What is the “gap”? It occurs when the value of your vehicle is less than what you owe on your finance agreement. You may not realize it, but if your vehicle is deemed a total loss as a result of an accident or theft, your insurance payment may not cover the outstanding balance owed on your vehicle. Which means you could end up paying for a vehicle that you can no longer drive. That’s why it’s so important to protect yourself with Ally Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP). The benefits of Ally GAP:
• Available on new and used vehicles
• Coverage is available for finance agreements of up to 96 months1
• Covers the remaining net outstanding balance2 including a deductible up to $1,000 (where permitted by state law)

A full refund is available if you cancel within 60 days provided no claims have been made. After 60 days, your refund will be prorated. So, protect your finances and ask your dealer how you can include Ally GAP with your vehicle financing. For additional details, visit ALLYGAP.COM.

1. See your dealer for details. 2. The Ally GAP payment example is for illustration only. For complete details of what Ally GAP will or will not cover in the event of a total loss of your vehicle, please ask your dealer for details or refer to your Ally GAP Addendum or insurance policy. For example, any late payment fees, other finance fees and any delayed payments from repayment extensions from your finance company included in the Balance on your Finance Contract are not covered. If the condition of your vehicle is subject to excess wear condition adjustments by your primary insurance carrier, these adjustments are not covered. See your Ally GAP Addendum or insurance policy for complete details. 3. Coverage of the deductible is subject to individual state laws and regulations.
